From world traveler to underwater photographer: A creative journey into the unseen corners of the ocean
I’m a French-born, certified and award-winning underwater photographer based in Singapore, currently working in the optical and lenses industry.
Over the last three decades, I’ve lived in eight countries and explored more than 100 around the globe - a borderless lifestyle that mirrors the way I dive and photograph: always seeking wonder in both the hidden corners and the grand stages of the Ocean.
My passion for both diving and photography began when I was 15, each offering a unique way of seeing the world. Later in life, I merged the two - deep diving into a creative form of expression that allows me to reveal the Ocean’s many faces, from the tiniest critters to the largest marine giants.
For me, photography isn’t simply about capturing reality; it’s about highlighting the magic in the details and transforming the underwater world into a canvas of colours, shapes, emotions, and stories. Whether through super macro, creative lighting, light painting, panning, or working with wide-angle scenes of reefs, wrecks, or whales, my aim is not just to document, but to elevate - to make the unseen and camouflaged unforgettable, and the grand scenes feel intimate.
This website is more than a portfolio. It’s an invitation to dive with me into fragile, mesmerizing ecosystems - from volcanic muck to living reefs, from sunken histories to the majestic ballet of whales. By revealing their beauty, diversity, and vulnerability, I hope to inspire awareness, appreciation, and encourage respect … because only then can we take meaningful action to protect them. After all, we only protect what we know, what we truly see … and love ,-)
